Just curious what everyone else uses to get to their favorite hunting spots . . . and why they like it.

I'll start it off with mine. Things don't get too tough around south Arkansas very often, so I can get by with my 2 wheel drive 95 Grand Cherokee Laredo. I can get my Ace 250, shovels, pinpointer, GPS, etc. all in the back seat, leaving room for my 12 year old daughter/hunting partner up front:

Sorry I dont have apicture, but everyone knows what a 1965 beetle looks like, they pay attention to the car and not what I am doing. Bob

2003 chevrolet S-10 pickemup, 2 wheel drive, 4.3 V6, auto tranny, 3.42 rear gears. Awesome little reliable truck. Also gets 24 mpg.'s on highway. holds everything, plus my wife, if she wants to go :laughing9:. I have a Leer fiberglass high topper cap on it, will get a pic later. As promised here is a pic of my vehicle..........

Nice looking rig. Gotta love them Jeeps. Had a 1985 Cherokee Pioneer (4 cyl, 4 door, 4WD) for several years until the second tranny went out. Was an AMC version with an AMC Pacer motor.

Put me in the Jeep club too , 1996 Grand Cherokee Laredo all time 4 wheel drive .

It's not just the fender, it goes the length of the truck! It's my ex's story, but lets just say he can't believe he's still alive after kissing that semi!!
It's good cuz it'll go almost anywhere, but it's to wide to fit into some tight squeezes. I like the f150 for most places, but now it is just our farm truck & I can't take it out on the road. so I have to use the beast & watch the trees closer. I love taking the old abandoned roads, & trucks are the only way to go. Now that I don't have to worry 'bout scratchin it it's a lot more fun!!

Sorry no pics. But for short local trips (50 mile) an Opel Zafira 2.0 DTI, for longer trips and when overnighting a MB SPrinter 113 CDI MWB HR (Got a bed and 240 volt electrics with microwave in there), and if there´s rough ground at the site I´ll hook up my trailer to either with my 4wd 650cc Quad on it for when I get there.
So, I have all the angles covered LOL

Dang, Bob. You're DRIVING a treasure. I spotted a small window Bug in a local back yard in my hometown, but haven't tracked down the owner, yet.

I live close enough to most of my good hunting sites that I can get by "driving" my Wal-Mart brogans. ;D
