What was your BEST/FAVORITE hunt(s) of 2015?

I'm up early today, and sadly it's the weekend where I change gears from detecting mode into Winter mode. My better finds from the year are put in their places, gear packed away, and my probe and Grey ghost ndt cords ready to ship off for repair. The barbeque gets put away later today, the snow blower gets a tune up, and the Winter coat comes out... just the reality of living on the East coast. In the process of doing this I thought it would be cool to see the links from everyone's best or favorite hunt or couple of hunts of the year. The two I'm posting were a blast, and even those alone made it all worth while.

PS: My detector will be on standby, and to be honest I don't think we're done quite yet, but it is close.

Our 1671 plantation / meeting house. More than 2 dozen coins 1630s - 1740 found so far. Over 2000 targets dug in 2015 alone. Took 24 years to find a site like this and I seriously doubt we'll ever find another quite like it. 5 cobs, Mass silver, high quality GII 1/2d's, sword pommel, open work bridle boss. Phenomenal site. Here's the boss from there which I cleaned up more recently. A couple videos below. Can't wait until Feb 2017 when we can go back here.
