1928 Peace dollar in EF, got it at my credit union. They look out for stuff for me, and this old lady had just come in and turned in a bunch of coins she had collected for years. Got $19 in Kennedy 1964 halves from EF to AU, 2 Peace dollars 1925 and 1928, 1 Morgan 1921 and 1 1963 Frankie. But the 1928 was the tops.

Had a few coins found that hit

the same dollar amount around $250 dollar area, best dig for me was in the same hole 1983-O, 1896-O, 1897-O, and a 1902 Barber Dimes. the 1902 was in AU condition and the rest were F-VF condition. Alos found in hole were two Indians in great condition(1900, 1902).

Not sure that these 2 dimes are my most valuable coin finds but they rank right up there due to their condition.

Found these 2 on Seminole War forts in Florida. Ironically, these were the only dimes I found on all the fort sites I have hunted.

Damn boy! those are some nice dimes!

Heck, I don't know.

I guess, to me, it would be the cache of 140 mercs I found in a mason jar next to a clothesline post about five years ago.

Some AU, all the way down to good. From 19teens, to the 40's. No, no 16d's or 21's. Graded 'um rolled 'um and there they are, and shall stay.

I suspect an 1837 half dime; hence my moniker for this site.

I didnt find these coins, but were givent to me 2 years ago for my graduation. My neighbor gave me the entire set of mercury dimes. I almost had to sit down when I opened it. She is an older lady and has been like my grama since for ever. I told her I couldnt accept it but she just said, "What would an old lady do with these coins".

Is there a 1916-D in there? You could have some serious cash there. Welcome to TNet.

Re: What's the most valuable coin YOU'VE ever discovered?

Yeah they are all in there except one of the 40s. I havent looked at them for about a year so I dont know which 40. The 1916-d isnt in the best shape but the 1921 and 1921 D are in good shape.
