What's with all these cell phone finds...

In the last week I have found a old school Nokia 3210 buried in the sand at the beach, and just last night one of those older mini Star Tac gimmicks in front of a school right off the sidewalk that runs in front of it. Figured someone was staggering by and lost it. They have been doing some roadwork and it must have been pushed under a bit. Also found another metal back plate off a newer cell model.

Anyone else finding some of these maybe older models? I guess since there is such a flush of a bazillion cell phones now that this will be more common place now? It just seems like I will be shocked if I don't find one or part of one now every time I go out....lol!

Now I won't be surprised if I find the 3-4 I lost over the last few years...:BangHead:

I have found 2 cell phones in a park and an iPod on the beach. All of them were trashed by the moisture. Crazy how many there are out there.

I have found one older cell phone that got hit by a lawn mower (Almost surface), and one trashed Iphone on the surface.

I also found a nice condition red "Beats" earbud set and gave them to my son after I cleaned them. He was like "Oh, cool Dad, thanks, these are like $80" and I said "what!" lol! I said next time I'm heading to Ebay! :BangHead:

I found an electronic book reader at the beach the other day full of books and it worked. can listen to books all daY1

I don't find the phones but I do find the cell batteries. They scream " good target"! I have also been finding the e-cigs.

I found this today... Haha

sail: now you have something to tide you over between solid tones or on lunch break! Golden find there..probably can get some risky story's on it too if need be...;)

olddude: Yep, e-cig market is exploding already and I'm sure they will fall right behind cells. I use one.

philly: looks like the old tried and true Moto blue! Does it work? This stuff will be just more trash sig soon imo. Such is the way of a MDer...we'll keep knocking down the walls!:headbang:

Thanks all and HH!

Never found a cell phone yet

I believe its called the zombies not paying attention to where their belonging are.

Nope But I do keep finding the batteries.
Two the last time I went out.

Over a period of 4 years I've found 2 cellphones, one smart phone and one i-phone.
Searched the owners over the data contained in the call index or the messages and returned all of them, except for the i-phone... but it doesn't work any more...

There are places out there that will buy cell phones for scrap. Depending on the make and model, can be some pretty good money!
Good gas money!

Just wait till after this holiday weekend! They'll be lost cell phones from the Keys to West Palm beach! :laughing7:

I've found cell phones, one smart phone, one Ipod and flash drives. I was only able to return one cell phone that still worked. Everything else was trashed. I believe with the Apple Ipod they will give you a discount on a new one if you turn in an old one at the Apple store but I don't need an Ipod...lol.

Like eveything else if it is not attched to you someone will lose it. When I'm hunting in the woods I make sure my phone is tucked deep in my pants pocket. To easy to fall out of a jacket or sweatshirt pocket especially with all the bending and squarting to recover targets.
