Many of us go to the bank and purchase boxes of coin with cash for several reasons.

I am curious to know how you pay for your boxes. Good banks or bad banks.

When I buy boxes, I try to stick with $20 and $50 bills. I do not use $100 bills because even though banks have counterfeit money detectors, the risk is not worth it. I also like to pay in $50 and $20 bills because they are not too large and not too small at the same time(compared to $100 bills).

I do however, have to get rid of some smaller bills($1, $5, and $10 bills)... I might have to start using them.

Share your transactions monetary wise with us, what kind of bills do you prefer?

Also, I like getting $20 and $50 bills because when you're getting back $1,000 cash, I can check for older series bills.

HH everybody!

With all the thoughts on 100's, I might just request $100 bills next time, seems the best option. 8)

I went to the banks yesterday to dump, and they asked me how I wanted my change back. I told them whatever is easiest for them.

I got a mix of 100's, 50's, 20's, and some 10's... Kind of weird.

The one bank I dumped at has 2 local branches with autimatic currency counting machines. They are programmed to give out whatever they give out. The one machine gave me back a mix of 100's, 50's, 20's... and 6 $10 bills. Kind of weird. Maybe next time I will ask for all 100's :laughing9:
