Yep, tough. We tried for sure, three different sites, all of them good, but such is the way of the digging lords.

Anyway without making a short story long, the first choice was a no-go (maybe nextime), so for consolaltion prizes this is what was the result.

I did manage a copper at the last minute of the day, I'd say a KG III in toast condition. 1 french musket ball. a .22 lead, that I was was quite sure was going to be a good coin at 8 inches, anyway you know about surehood... and it turned out to be the 22lead at about 6 inches. A gold plated pocket watch frame, and a (best of day) piece of silver ware...real Silver.

So that's it folks, 6 or 7 hours, 3 different sites, and not too much to show, it's not rainbows, and lollypops everyday. But we can hope....EH ?
