every piece of MDing equipment you've ever wanted or want.
Will they make you a better "detectorist"?
Your thoughts...
Peace

Gives ya options, you cant do it all at once. But you always want better.

No, not really.

Gotta learn and then use it.So no unless you apply yourself and the equipment.

If I own every car that I've ever wanted, will that make me a better driver?

It's not the kind of worm your fishing with,it's how ya wiggle it!

no. You find the best machine you can afford and learn it. I have a tackle box full of fancy fishing lures. Do they catch any fish? no - not unless they are used with skill. And some are just a waste of $$$.

Owning the best doesn't make you better. But neither does owning little and not knowing how to use even that. ;-)

If you are efficient with what you have, low or high, you are probably better off that someone who isn't very good.

As my Mommy said: "Learn to live with what you've got and you won't need what you have not".

But more money will ALWAYS buy more options. A sharp guy with great equipment will likely always beat a sharp guy with crummy equipment.

I think the equipment takes a back seat to the knowledge and experience in metal detecting. The more I learn the better I get! So knowledge is an important piece of the puzzle! Experience makes it even better!

Right on RustyGold.... It's the one thing you can't read about or be told.... YOU actually have to go get it. This applies to MANY or MOST endeavors.
