34 years ago today, we lost the King of Rock and Roll.

I was 14 years old and at my friends house. We had been riding horses all day and took a break for lunch. His mom came in and told me because she knew how much I loved him. I cried all the way home and for days after. It was truly my very first broken heart.

I was two years old.

My 2nd cousin owns the wart that was removed from the left wrist of The King. There is a group that has tried to give her a very large amount of $$$ for it so they can try to clone Elvis. She keeps it on display in her Elvis museum.

She also displays a toenail she found while rooting through the carpet of the Jungle Room.
