right now if you had the opportunity to do so? I would be chest deep in warm, crystal clear water in Paradise Island, Bahamas. My CTX, TREX scoop, and a pouch overfilling with gold rings, chains, earrings, bracelets. Then I look out the window, dang it! Well a boy can always dream can't he. Soon guys/girls,soon. GL, stay warm, keep busy. Mike

Simple-England-one month-one day-12 hrs of wait time still, but who counts anyways.:laughing7:

Someplace with two digit temperatures and a LOT less snow.

Has anyone ever tried the Azores? Good wine, good seafood. Had to be a stop-off place for the last 600 years?

Funny you mention it, I'm portuguese. Beautiful place indeed! Metal detecting not so much. From what I understand it's illegal unless you "know" somebody. Basically you need a permit which you can't get.

Geez I'm getting some real sick thoughts lately, -10C and no wind and I'm thinking it's nice outside.

The Azores sounds like an intriguing spot, and I'll bet the timeline goes over 600yrs.

It would be some warm water beach somewhere where there is no
local competition, lots of finds, and good scenery!

-9 degrees F tonight. That's -23 Canadian. And the weather service is happy to tell us with the wind it feels like -32F, That's -36C.

Want to help me slug water out to the sheep and chickens tomorrow AM before I go to work?

I am sooooo ready for May.
