Oh okay how far can the tracker track the coins? And for the coin master is it a intermediate machine or a beginner I wanted a intermediate. And what are the features of the coinmaster

Coinmaster has pinpoint a display depth readout ive found quite a bit with mine if you want deeper you need a machine with ground balence

Machines up to around $350 are entry level.......intermediiate machines are machines $350-600.....

The key to success with any metal detector is Research,if it`s not there.. you won`t find it... with any machine
and ,
Operator if you don`t learn what the machine is telling you,and Its there you may not find it....most coins are found within the 6" range...just sayin!

Minelab Etrac has undeniable performance but you're going to have to leave the price range if you want even an entry level machine. I started with the Xterra 305, hunted for two years, and it's done well. Didn't have the depth that I was looking for but it still found. Except for silver :( I now own an Etrac so I'll see how that goes

I suggest getting what you can afford to buy and go with it. You will find coins and old homesites where the fields are plowed every year the coins are usually pretty shallow. Parks, tot lots and beaches will give you coins and jewelry. When you get a lot of that stuff sell your finds and buy a better detector if you love this hobby. Good luck on your future hunts.
