Yesterday was a skunk and today I picked up 2 boxes of halves hoping to find something, but alas I find nothing but roll after roll of marked coins.

If you sold as many Sharpies as I do, you would never question my intentions. I used to sell cans of spray paint but the idiots in my neighborhood can't even spell graffiti. Cheers, hope your days get better. Jim

I found a few today in different rolls that had a black Sharpie mark down the back of Kennedy's head and several with different colored marks on them. My oddest coin had the date of "5/16/11" written in Sharpie on the back with initials on the front.

Yeah I just started hunting in northeast Indiana and so far halves have been extremely dry for me. I've found a total of (4) 40%. Searched about $3000 worth.

Last time I had marked coins just like that, and I would say 70%-80% of the coins were marked, I still found silver in the box....
