Alright, this is a tad bit funny... btu my grandma is having me take care of her fish while she is in florida... so i noticed that she has a BUNCH of marbles in the tank of it... so i need to know which ones might be good to start a collection. and before you say "o you are stealing them" she told me i may take some and i believe they are mine from when i was little anyways haha so idk.. give me types to look for... i see some cateye ones, some solid colored ones... but idk what to look for exactly...

delta 4000 / ace 250 - used BH and many others too
the "clear" color catseye type are the newer ones --solid "milky" white with color swirls are older type * mostly made in west virginia --the clay marbles types are even older

go for pretty and what you like...what haunts new collectors are tryin to get the holy grail ...i study marbles everyday and have for 20+ years and theres always something thats new in the marble world...go to a show or find a collector in your area...youll be amazed!!!! dont ever buy a marble for an investment....buy what you can afford and what you like.....it takes years and years to know marbles....
