Found these in/around a dry creek bed..Wondering if these are just rocks or Artifacts /worked ? Thanks..

LOL........No harm no foul.......I do the same thing especially if the rock is a nice example of a mineral....................I find that learning the lithics(stones used) in your area that were used by native americans makes it easier to find artifacts. Don't feel too bad about the rocks in the closet. As far as rock's found at campsites go they can be helpfull in studying the different materials that artifacts are made from you find in campsites. I have 5 gallon bucket's full of rocks and coffee cans full of broke's bases, mid-section's and tips that I have had in the storage shed for as long as 25 yrs. I know some guy's that don't keep brokes but I have never gotten rid of a broken piece.

i keep all flint/worked pieces...To me its still a piece of history! :sign13:

LOL@ Rock.........I hear ya about removing them from the closet. I'll be happy to take the ones you don't want.........Rock gardens all around please!!!!..................lol............
