Whites M6 or Fisher F5?

White's M6 or Fisher F5?

I have been considering the White's M6 or the Fisher F5. Which is the better of the two in terms of depth, pinpointing, weight, etc. Have heard many good things about the White's M6 but haven't heard much on the F5....Any help would be appreciated...Thanks..

From what have read the Fisher F5 is almost the same as the Tek Omega just diff. user interface both hunt very deep, don`t know much about the White`s M6.
The F5 is lighter than the M6 and better balanced.

F5 is super light weight you can swing it for hours...my 2 cents. Both are great machines!

I'm not crazy about the knob style settings on the Fisher F 5. That is probably just my personal preference. I am a Whites fan myself, but prefer the programable models. Both of the machines you are considering are quality machines. Have fun making your selection. HHS
