Becky probably quit and won't be back. Gum uses props and they stage those finds.
How about a write in and get Gypsyheart on that show. That way the director may find her some good places to swing that MD and that won't be fake.

It's a great show,i never miss an episode.....as for picking between Becky and Kirsten i don't even think a cartwheel competition would sway me either way ..lmao

On a serious note...I think its an amazing show,both seem to become more knowledgeable as the show progressed.Both their levels of enthusiasm make the show a pleasure to watch.

In Kirsten's defense: i don't mind the "whats it worth" inquiries because if she never asked those questions I'd be sitting there wondering.....Damn i wonder what something like that is worth?....I'm sure i am not alone here!!

Meet Kirsten

There's a new host digging up undiscovered cash and treasures. Kirsten Gum is the new host of 'Cash and Treasures.' . The show, Kirsten, and her guests will inspire the treasure hunter in you.

So who is Kirsten Gum? Kirsten has quickly become one of the most recognized on-air personalities in sports commentating. She is versatile and charismatic, with a vivacious on-screen presence, but Kirsten is not just another pretty face - even if she was voted the sexiest woman in Charlotte, N.C. twice.

Her trip to the top has been a quick one. Kirsten began her broadcasting career at age 23 as a news reporter in Jefferson City, Missouri, and 'paid her dues' in a number of markets as she sprinted through the ranks.

Her ease in front of the camera comes from years of experience covering a wide range of world-class events: form NASCAR and the Tour de France to ESPN's Great Outdoor Games, the PBR World Championships, World Cup Skiing and the grueling three-week off-road race through Africa - the Dakar Rally.

An Alaskan native currently living in Los Angeles, Kirsten is hardly a spectator. In October 2005, she completed the "Beast of the East," a 400-mile adventure race in Virginia. Racing on just 10 hours of sleep during the five-day even, Kirsten and her team fought their way to a strong second place finish.

Don't pigeonhole her as a tomboy. She is equally at home in Lycra or a little black dress. Kirsten is passionate about sports, but her enthusiasm extends to travel and a wide range of experiences.

When she's not search for cash and treasures, Kirsten can be found hiking, cycling, snowboarding, scuba diving, kayaking, horseback riding, or surfing.


Where's Becky Worley?

As most of you recall, Becky was the host of 'Cash and Treasures' first season. Unfortunately, she won't be hosting the second season, but she has a good excuse. She's pregnant with twins!

"I didn't think crawling around in small places, swinging a pick ax and enduring 100 degree days would make for healthy babies. And I didn't think that maternity jeans and an ever-expanding waistline would make for the best TV," she said.

The expectant mom still connects with the 'Cash and Treasures' crew who have already grown very fond of new host Kirsten Gum.

"I can't wait to meet her and see the new season!" Becky said.

Didn't see the other, but Kirsten Gum is very attractive, funny, personality plus and seems to be very energetic. I think she does a great job!

Not unless you wear a size 34D and can smile that same crooked smile that Kirsten has. C'mon, man, they're looking for women to host that show because they ASSUME only men like to hunt for treasure. The producers obviously don't realize that women are just as interested. The sexist pigs! LOL

Becky was a much better host. I also think she got to do better shows than Kirsten. Since Becky did the first season, all the cool topics were used. Some of the stuff Kirsten looks for, I don't even watch. Who cares about looking for mushrooms. I like them both but Becky was better.

I happened to see Kristen Gum on an Infomercial for some type of real estate thing. She had Blond hair in that one. And she is my choice

In my Serious opinion, it Has vey little if anything to do with Looks
on this one. Even though I Joke about it.

The Fact is Becky was the First & I did get used to her.
this may be part of it.

But she also seemed to have a more Serious Intrest in what she was Doing.

The Eye Candy was just a Bonus for us Viewers.
