Why Does A Cub Scout Cry?

I managed to get out a little bit over the weekend. I hunted with TNetters, Smittyman, P@tch and Kurt Stuben.

Here is a pic of the weekend's coins. There are (10) wheaties in there, but no silver coins.

I managed to get a clad JFK half, 2 rings and a kiddie police badge.

I got a nice high tone, and this nugget appeared in the hole (sorry for the blurry pic, I get excited).

A quick wipe revealed Cub Scout silver!

Now you know why a Cub Scout cries, because he lost his ring!

Silver ring # 8 for the year.

I found one like that in my other lake, one of my favorite finds because I was a scout. I was out yesterday in a cornfield that was turned and then tilled that I had found a half Real and a War nickle in the early fall. I got a 80's signal and out pops this. Made me think of you. Turned out to be an aluminum "play money" coin. Thought I had a folded Real.

I checked it TWICE... it was bent before I dug it. I looked closely for my "signature" shovel mark and it was not present, thank God. For once, this was NOT my fault. It displays well in the case though.

Ahhh, Something I have found , I got 2 of those little buggers over the years & both are Special to me.

Does anybody know what era these rings are from?

Ill bet you got a few (neck tie C-Scout deals as well).

It's been a couple years but I "Think" they were made that way for a 1 size fits all. Well some of them at-least.
