Jeff, here's another cup :coffee2:. Sometimes I also make the mistake of warming up an old thread, then feel stupid, after posting. Maybe if the posting date was more bold, or in a different place, it would help. I know we had one member here, that liked to warm up the old post, and it sure did warm up a few members too! Glad to see he hasnt been posting.

I think I know what Sandman is referring to. It shows the original date posted, then if someone replies it would have today & time showing. This is on "Active Topics". Click on it to make it bigger. What caught my eye was a post from 2005 that someone replied to tonight.

Don't they still have that warning that this is an old post before someone drags it up top? The place to stop it is down below before everyone starts tripping over it at the top. I think it is new members that are brousing down below and don't even think about it being a dated post. Perhaps posts could be locked in a reed only mode after a set period of inactivity. Frank... PS, You know when I trip over them by the cat.
