Now don't call me crazy, but I think I truly lost my marbles. But I think I'll just start going through pennies because I can get a lot more of those than anything. Search other stuff when I can, but gather wheats for .03 cents each and trade them in at the local coin store for silver. I think it's a slow but SURE way of getting silver over time. :)
Going tomorrow to see if I can't trade wheats for silver. I got a few hundred sitting around.
Opinions?
Wicka. :)

I also got a 1976 bicentennial S proof. It looks amazing. I do not know if its silver so it's in my proof collection.
Look at the edge. If it has a silver edge it's silver :-)
Good luck!
Wicky.

It looks silver but also has a dark tint I'm just gonna take it to the LCS an see if it sparks interests.

Just be honest and ask! :-) They're sharks for a living, they'll tell you it's not silver if you ask "what's this worth?"
Good luck!

Does it have any clad on it's edge? or ALL silver edge. :-)

Looks all silver to me. I will just ask the guy at the LCS

Bounce it off a table and compare the sound to a clad quarter. It looks like your coin is silver and the sound doesn't lie.
