Nice! But those willows give me the eeeebie jeeebies. When we were kids and if we got in trouble, Grandma would make us go out to a tree similar, and pick our own switch...Mean ole lady!

4H that's funny. we were just the opposite. we would hide in the willow til mom gave up on finding us. either there or in the corn patch!

I love those trees. There was one next door to my house when I was growing up, we used to climb and play around it all the time. It was like a club house without having to build one. There is an assisted living center there now and our club house is long gone. Thanks for the pics.

The flowers are the naked ladies. Or surprise lilies. Willows are a favorite for me, thier gracefulness is calming. well, unless you were switched with the branches. But I wasn't, so Nice picture mamabear.

believe it or not, I planted this tree maybe 6 yrs ago. it was just a little switch then. I think it likes living here.

Nice pics mamabear, willows are one of my favorite trees, prolific growers too. I've got a 10 year old one that has doubled in size in the last 2 years, I think it has tapped into the water level.

Willow trees are horrible beasts . Wait till you have a wet year and the ALL break and fall on your bass boat!

I see that willow`tree an my butt cheeks tighten up , some of the worst beating in my life came from a lil old indian woman an willow `switches .......man my grandma could catch some serious sting with one of those ......I miss the old woman .

Willow has got to be the absolute worst tree from a detecting standpoint, if you have ever tried to retrieve a target from underneath one, you'll know what I mean.
