Had some serious winds and high surf this weekend. Found the ring tucked in right at the bottom of the cut wall. I was hunting just around high tide and was caught a few times up against the wall:laughing7:
Once you got in there you were committed there was no escape! The ring is 14K and came in a little over 12g. Only one silver dime out of all the coins. This beach has produced quite a bit of old silver but I'll take the gold anytime.......
Good Luck Out There

Nice one! The ole Surfmaster always comes through. Getting caught in a cut can be somewhat scary. Ya see the tide coming up and realise you have to walk a half mile to the end.... grin

Ain’t that a bear when you turn your face towards the wall of a cut and the water splashes right back into your face, been there done that. :laughing7: I remember hoping my Explorer 2 was being help up high enough over my head so it wouldn’t get wet. :laughing7: Congrats on you gold ring :occasion14::occasion14:

Nice going but watch getting slammed into that cut! Did you total up all of the clad? Be cool to know just how many coins you found. That's a ton of digging!

Hope you got out the next day if you had left anything behind.
