Friday was my day off, and even tho it was nice, in the 70's, it was howling outside. Oh well, my headphones work good, so I went back to the lake with my 2 faithful hunting companions. The wind was insane, if I didn't have my earphones on, my cap would have been in Canada, & there were whitecaps on the lake. The dogs had fun, and I managed to pluck 3 Wheaties, a 1942, 1944 & 1945, and these 3 silver dimes, a 1935 Merc, a 192?-D Merc (I think it may be a 26) and a 1963. I also managed some clad, 11 dimes, 10 pennies, and 4 quarters, and the usual assortment of trash. Our detecting season is growing short, long range forecast shows 60's for highs if we're lucky, plus deer season opens is a couple of weeks & pheasants next weekend, so I'll be swinging less.
I'm amazed at the quality finds I see posted,
, and wish everyone continued good success, and happy hunting! Take care...
