In Spanish, "el palmar" means the palm of the hand or related to the palm of the hand, not the tree. Palm trees are feminine in Spanish and a group of palm trees is "las palmas" Maybe you gotta look for something that looks like a palm of one's hand. Good luck at it!!

Maybe this has been discussed before [likely], but there are wrecks shown north of Cape Canaveral with dates 1768 and 1769 - are those known and named? Also curious about "Hurricane Harbor" off Walker Cay and "Memory Rock". The land profiles as seen from the sea are pretty cool too - pre GPS and reliable chart navigation.
