Wise Words for the Newbies!!!!!!

Here is a bit of advice that has proven to be very true. As a newcomer to MD'ng myself I was very excited to get started out in the field after waiting a couple of days for my new ACE 250 Pro to arrive from Kelly Co. . As soon as put it together and watched the dvd that came along, I hit the fields wide open. I just knew I was going to be pulling treasure out of the ground left and right. To my dismay it didn't seem to work like I had dreamed of the night before. My first day out was totally disappointing, I dug my hands off to the bone only to recover a boatload of old beer cans and pull tabs. Well I come in and posted my results on treasure net. I was blowed away by the support the more accomplished hunters sent me, it really give me hope to keep trying. Thanks Guys!
Needless to say the next day I went back out again. I remembered everyone telling me to be patient and coins would come along. Sure enough they was right. Today I found 2-Quarters,3-dimes, and 9-pennys. Now I know thats not a lot to some but when your just starting out like I was it sure is a big boost of confidence!! So please newbies, for goodness sakes check out the forums here on treasure net and whatever you do be patient, THEY WILL COME!!!!!!!

I love this group it doesn't matter if you pull a gold bar out or a pull tab, you are going to get a pat on the back. The encouragement always helps out, everyone seems to have low times and its nice to have support for the long haul, not just the best finds.
