My buddy and I trucked up to the Philly area from DC on Sunday. We aimed to hit a 1700's home site with a fairly small yard and then play the rest of the day by ear.
The 1700's house was a true bust, mega letdown, so we moved a few miles down the road to hit an 1895 McMansion that saw much activity 100 years ago. This was the third time we hit this property, and we have struck silver every time. 3 hours later I had dimes of the Seated and Barber variety, and two silver quarters. We pounded the outskirts of the property and dug the iffy signals. Paid off. Sterling spoon and silver clasp thang too!
Last 45 minutes were spent across the street and 3 houses down. Impromptu permission. There I completed my dime trifecta 'the hard way'! I couldn't find a rosie, but I did hit Seated, Barber then Merc. In that order. So cool. The Barber is stunning. Dropped by a mint employee obviously.
I love the in-situ pic below. Never even took the shovel out of the hole, that is exactly how it was popped.
F75 with NEL Tornado coil all day. It's a big coil, but target separation is still incredible. DE mode all day. All coins were 1-6" deep.
One more hunt on Thursday for 2015! HH & Merry Holidays!

Frosty!!!

My buddy made some great finds too! Garrett CSI Pro and stocker coil.
