I got out a bit today & I'm wondering about these two. The top one looks as if its worked but also looks like a geofact. The next looks as if it could be a small drill? Or an Engraver?

Thanks,

Pictures of both sides of both pieces would be helpful, and of the whole rock, not just part of one would be helpful as well. Also in the second pic. the ruler is of no help without indicating inches or millimeters. Thanks!

Both look like they are more than just discard flakes, but purposely shaped/flaked for some purpose. But still hard to tell w/o knowing the size and holding/looking at them personally. Probably someone here will know. I'm of the opinion that NAs often made expedient tools of many different kinds of stone, used them for some immediate spur of the moment purpose, and then just tossed them.

lets see the whole piece on the 2nd one

Id say graver tip tool on that one. Looks like some edge work so probably a scraper with graver tip would be my guess. 1st one looks natural though.

Thanks rock, I was thinking engraver but just wanted someone else's opinion.
Here is another one I found some time ago on the right it has working on the edges, & I've many others from different places like the one on the left,Your so called "rocks" Treasure_hunter.

One on left still looks like a natural rock, one on right looks like it has some flaking done....

The one on the left was the first one, on the right is today's find. It's funny they have the shape just others I've found?

To me they look like flakes removed by the curve in them. I like large flakes some were used some werent depends on the person that removed them if they needed it or not. Most large flakes here were used.
