I have owned this beauty for over forty years and am wondering what they are worth in today's market. I know the green porphyry is highly sought after. I did not dig this up, I traded for it and traded for and bought a few others years ago. I had a lot of nice stuff from my family farm in NW OH and traded for some things from other farms in OH. I retired without a pension and it is getting to be time for me to sell off some of my collections. Any help is appreciated.

Nice, I would love to own one like that !

Google: Mative American artifacts for sale. There are several companies. Best stay seated until your blood pressure goes down...

Man you are about 5 yrs to late for a great price. Things are slowly creeping back up but nothing like it was sorry to tell ya. You could try sending it to Westernartifacts.com or just contact them and see what they say on it for you.

Contact member "Hippy" on here. He buys high quality Axes and may be interested in that one if proven authentic. Did you find it or purchase it?

I have no idea how much that would go for. It's a beautiful piece. Personally, I would get as much background info as possible and maybe get it authenticated if you haven't done so already.

Awesome piece! Best of luck on the sale.

Can you show a good photo of the bit end. I see use polish in the groove, but none on the bit. Also along that time there was a family in Al. making a lot of reproduction's, I would have it checked .
