Went out today with same buddy as my Lincoln's Birthday Hunt. We hit the same ball park, a 1880's church and my early 1800's ghost town. This is the same ghost town I found a 1831 Large Cent. While detecting the ball park I found a Rosie Dime and several wheaties. My buddy found his first silver and he was so happy jumping around. I was so happy for him because he has found several wheats since he bought his Explorer, but no silver till today. At the church I found another Rosie Dime and a couple more wheats. Buddy found a Shield Nickel. I told him that he is learning his machine if he starts finding nickels. Well later in the day I decided to hit my ghost town since it has dried up a little. Was there for about 30 minutes and I was hunting the same area as I found the Large Cent. I suddenly got a nice silver sound and my face lit up because I knew it was going to be good. I cut the plug out and set it on it's side a checked it. I got no sound so I went back to the hole. I got no sound there either. I was shocked so I turned on pinpoint mode and then I picked it up. I looked to the side of the hole and there it was just shining at me. It was a 1839 O Seated Liberty Dime. I was jumping up and down. I ran over to my buddy to show him and he could not believe it's condition. Well here are my finds and thanks for looking.

Michiganne! You are da lady! 1839-0 seated dime???

It doesnt get much better than that. If i found it I would have to put it in a holder right away, for fear of wearing it down to a VG because i would be picking it up all the time staring at it.
