Woo Hoo, First Silver Coin for the Year
I finally found a silver coin this year, a 1942 Mercury dime. A lady let me detect around a house probably from the 1930’s. I was on my last swing in the front yard in the flower bed and ding, a dime lock I found a 1953 wheat there but that was it for old coins. I think someone had MD’d the place before but that ol Ace sniffed out some silver. I found 63 pennies in that yard. I also worked the easement and found 4 other wheat’s and a 1942- 5 Centavo Mexican coin. I also found a key, bullets and a marble. And a suspect part of a silver earring. Altogether I found 115 coins for $4.72.
