When I told you to post it in the what is it forum, I meant here- What Is It?
It has the most traffic. I do believe someone there will be able to id it for you. You can hear the crickets chirping on this forum it's so quiet, lol. I would also suggest removing the piece from the plastic and taking a couple more photos including the reverse side of it. I believe it is a hat badge but that cannot be confirmed without looking at the back of it. I also believe that the letters U R stand for "Uniform Rank," a name often used by fraternal orders to designate the uniformed, paramilitary, or parade unit of the organization.

Haha I know. I've been so busy lately I haven't had time to post or take pictures. I I believe it is a hat badge as well. I thought I'd give this a forum a try though. Thanks again diggumup
