World Party - Is It Like Today (Then and Now)

[The_Piratess]

Karl Wallinger IS World Party. Brilliantly writes all music, lyrics and records all instrumental tracks himself. Only takes other musicians with him when playing live on tour.

This is my Welsh friend, Karl Wallinger now. Not bad for a man who suffered an anuerysm and had to learn to walk and talk again!
Maybe this is what happens when you refuse to sell out? Funny how the same thing happened to Edwyn Collins too...

[The_Piratess]

This was a bit before my time but Classic none the less. Hard to believe that Karl had the same manager as Prince did back then. Great Piratess song too...
