woke up this morning feeling like death warmed over :(
got my balance & Staggered into the kitchen and made myself a Cup of Death Wish Coffee.
come over here & turned on my Computer.
By then my coffee was ready. so I stagger back out, Fill my cup,
and come back over here. and start drinking.
Now I make my Coffee Very strong. and as I'm drinking I'm thinking I'm going to have to Double up on the Grounds next time. tasting like water :(
I decide to go look in my Coffee Pot.
I never put any Grounds in :( :dontknow::BangHead: sitting here drinking Hot water :( I'll never wake up.

Real Pot should be Ready :coffee2:

Why do people give up drinking coffee,,
I don't understand it,, now ,, where my cup??

Yea I spend about $50.00 a month on coffee.
Just ordered 3 More Pounds this morning

Thought I was loosing it . lol

Haha I've never done that before. I make mine strong as well.... sometimes I put too much grounds and end up with a bunch in my coffee if the pot isn't catching the flow just right.

My finds are a good reflection to how strong and how much coffee I drink. I need to go and get some more supreme blend, I don't think I've found any gold since I ran out of that stuff :laughing7:

What do you sip on?

I agree... everyone should quit drinking coffee...

So the price of mine will go down hopefully.

Hahaha. Funny story!

On merchant ships we call coffee "gasoline". No gas, no go!

I prep my coffee maker before bed and set the timer. I can't tell you how many times I've forgotten to add the water!

yea I've forgotten water on occasion.
I've also accidentally reused old grounds.
thinking in the Mornings can be treacherous :laughing7:

You want strong, pour the old left over coffee in the coffee maker, add a little water & add extra coffee in the basket....ahhh! Wakefullness!...or hair on your chest,...which ever comes first!

my boss at the bar used to do that. the basket would be packed full,
and the first cup of the day was always the left over from the night before.
not exactly tasty but it done it's job

Ya, you don't have to worry about staying awake, hard to not vibrate out of your chair!...& elimination is day-glow yellow!

lololol. ah man i feel for ya. and sorry but that was funny. cuz i love my coffee too.

Frigging thing had the tendency to "overflow" if ALL things were not "perfect"...
In other words...
The carafe and such had to be positioned just right etc etc...

That damn maker was an S.O.B. :/
I have one of those right now; designed to allow you take a cup before it's finished brewing without continuing to dump coffee in the absence of the carafe. good idea but sometimes backs up in the filter even with carafe in place. I've learned to stand and wait til I see coffee in the pot before walking away.:coffee2:

Mine used to do that 'till I cleaned it. The basket had grounds, almost sludge slowing it down. Then I did the vinegar cleaning.
I also spread the coffee out toward the edge of the basket to avoid the dreaded "filter flop"

WORST SCENARIO....

talk about a bad day... You have not had a bad morning with coffee until this happens...

I have burned through many coffee makers...
Well one...

SUCKED !

SNICKER LOL I filled one the night before the Filled it the Next Morning Again It flowed out the Over flow Drenched My cold Feet Bad morning No Coffee Until I remembered what I did the Night before Cleaned up the Mess then turned on the Coffee Maker

I actually add more grounds each pot I make...
I make half pots...
2 bottles water to one scoop grounds...
Makes 3 good cups...
After the second cup I add another scoop and two more bottles water ... restart... and this continues until my permanent reusable filter is completely full of grounds.

The plus to this is...
The coffee gets better with each batch.

Arrrg... that coffee pot was cursed.

I was not that the thing would leak SOME times...
But it actually overflowed .
the basket would...
grounds soup everywhere.

IT made for a very bad coffee start. heh

Look at the bright side, jeff........
You had the perfect ingredient for instant oatmeal or soup ready for your breakfast..........
And you didn't spill it all over your keyboard..............

My coffee maker makes 12 cups. That means 12 scoops. Yep.
