Okay everyone....as I'm interested in beach and shallow surf hunting, I figured I would ask the question here instead of opening myself up to the entire site with this rather dumb question :dontknow: I've read quite a few posts about the WOT coil. What does "WOT" stand for? :icon_scratch: :icon_scratch: There you go....your dumb question of the day... :notworthy:

WOT = Wild Orange Thing

Actually it's "Wonderful Orange Thing"... :wink:.

THE COILTEK WOT COIL

"Wonderful Orange Thing!

Made for Minelab's Sovereign, Excaliber, Musketeer, XT18000,

With Coiltek's new WOT coil for the above machines, you are going to get ahead of depth. How deep?

For your coin and relic machines, how about pennies at 18 and 19 inches in mineralized ground.

With the WOT XT on your gold machine you'll be keeping up with the big boys.

Think of the ground coverage a 15" DD provides!

Isn't it hard to pinpoint with a coil as big as the WOT?

Not with the WOT's sweet spot. Pinpointing is a dream!

Coiltek's team of experts have been designing and producing since 1986.

COILTEK coils are simply the best, but don't take my word for it, read some unsolicited testimonials.

COILTEK is not affiliated with Minelab and use of after market coils may void Minelab's warranty."

I love my 15 wot on my excal. I found a Rolex Submariner in gold and stainless steel last year with it at over 20 inches on the beach.

Even though I know what it means, I purposely read it as "wide open throttle"...cause it kinda is :icon_scratch:
