well we finally got snow today as predicted for the last week. the wind was howling out of the wsw which is great for beach work so I decided to bundle up in my heavy winter clothes and give it a shot.
I found a spoon that I think is silver. it aint stainless or lead or pewter or steel. so does this count or coins only ?

I also dug up 5.5lbs of sinkers,a live .38 special round, an old button with colour on the back, 2 keys,
an ouboard motor skeg,an aluminum dinghy paddle, and some odd pices of lead, one piece has a hole that was filled in with lead like a seal.also some iron spikes and eye bolts. all in all a pretty good day.

that must have been a counterfit mag light didnt hold up like mine did.....lol

cool, I wasn't sure if spoons, forks, and knives counted. most of the board talks about finding silver in coin form. well I found the handle today and the other part in november. guess I'm covered for 2 years then.

thanks for looking, I hope you all have great finds in 2008.
