Would you keep these?

I was at a bank yesterday dumping some searched dimes. After asking for halves which she didnt have the teller offered me a N F String roll of $25 in Ulysses S Grant dollars ( even so printed on the roll ) I bought them thinking there at least worth $25. Question I dont collect modern coins are they worth anything over face value the fact they are in an original roll? I dont really want to dump them any idea as to value if any?

If it is a blue roll direct from the US mint I'd look into putting it on FeeBay

In the beginning, I used to buy all the small dollar coins the bank had, usually $1-$7 in the tray combined. After the presidential dollars came out, each teller has about 2-3 rolls($50-$75) in presidential dollars that nobody buys.

I think the coins are good to have 1 of each president (P and D) in uncitculated shape, but I don't consider them valueable.

Toss the roll on feebay, see if you can make a quick dollar or 2 off the roll, other than that, i'd dump them.

Not only do I consider the presidential dollars not valuable beyond use as circulation grade coins, but I also refuse to put together a personal collection of them. Just prior to her passing, wifey had signed up for a presidential dollar collection series from the Danbury Mint. A 12 coin George Washington uncirculated roll was included in the first delivery. They were left in a room without air conditioning and they oxidized/corroded in less than a year. None of the other coins left in that exact same environment suffered anywhere near the same degree of degradation in that time. Even the corrosion-prone zincolns didn't go off that quickly!
