Would you spend $1500 on an eTrac or a pair of x705s?

Would you spend $1500 on an eTrac or a pair of x705's?

My sons (ages 10 and 13) and I love metal detecting. I recently got them an Ace 250 and we've had a blast. Looking ahead, I was considering getting "the ultimate eTrac", but as you know, it's $1500.

I was just wondering if it would be best to get the eTrac.....or maybe a pair of x705's.

Your thoughts please?

I have ACE 250, my friend eTrac. If I can find 10 coins, my friend can find 18 coin. If I can find 15 coins, my friend can find 27 coins. eTrac always finds more ACE 250 in ratio 1,8/1
