Wow, $200 of CWR dimes actually pennies

Picked up $200 worth of CWR dimes at a branch on Saturday and just cracked them open to find a dime on each end and the rest all pennies. Think the bank will honor that?

hokielegend the thought did cross my mind! But I just didnt want to fool with the wrappers more than I had to. Maybe I thought CSI would be called to do prints or match fibers or somethin!

This is why my banks refuse rolled coins. People shorting rolls AND people complaining about it. Actually I've had more teller and vault managers tell me it's the complaining that made them stop accepting rolled coin. In your case, I would walk in and say "I wouldn't normally complain but I picked up $200 in dimes that were all filled with 48 pennies and dimes on the ends". It sounds like you asked for $200 so there's a decent chance the bank will have more examples, especially if ALL 40 ROLLS were built like this, as you stated. I'd do it quickly, if your going to do it.
