Wow what a coin line I hit !!!

Quick spin today, lots of clad , I hit a coin line that wouldn't quit . I got seven quarters within 10 feet ,, in a straight line . Never had that happen before. ,,,Guzz1

This happens once in a while and it is strange. Mostly like items get washed around to settle together near a rock or piece of drift wood or even seaweed. But on the dry sand you have to wonder if all the coins were lost by the same person or were they tossing them to a target on the sand. Finding a few gold rings grouped together truly calls for the "Happy Dance," but try not to draw attention to yourself or stand the chance of getting mugged goin back to the vehicle.

I've read several peoples opinions as to why this happens but I'm not convinced. But I must admit I love it when I come across one. HH and good luck on hitting another one.

I forgot to mention I was hunting the wet sand when I found the quarters ,,I only wish they were gold rings. Its just seems weird that they would be line up like that ..There was no one around this area when I hit the line . Its funny when you start digging for a target .People will come up and ask you what you found ,,I always show them a pull tab.......Guzz1

I had a guy at the beach that was watching me for about 10 mins, he kept getting braver/closer and closer. I was picking up my finds and looking at them a little before they went into the pouch UNTIL he was close enough to maybe actually see what I had. I didn't look at that one, it went right into the pouch and he says excitedly, "what was that"? I said, "I don't know I'll check it later". The look on his face could be put next to the word sourpuss in the dictionary. I was lmao inside.

guzz1 ....same thing happened to my wife down in your part of the world....but her coin line were dimes, 13 in all.... a 300 feet row, wet sand also.......while i was freezing my buns off in the water with a 5 mil wetsuit not to mention the rough surf....rdi

You've got to love it when that happens, once found over $6 in the same hole, must have fell out of a pocket while they were sitting there (dry sand).

One person i know was convinced that he found a real hot spot that just woldn't run out until he found that there was a hole in his goody bag.

Guzz I was beach hunting up at the North end of Longboat Key in the pass, around the casarina trees in the water and found a pile of quarters, nickles, dimes and pennies. Piled up basicly, I pulled a couple out checked again and kept pulling modern clad out. I think there was a couple dollars worth. It was right at the base of a tree, in the water, and there was a branch about shoulder high that went straight out like a shower curtain rod and a sawed off limb next to it. I suppose that they were used to hang pants on, and coins fell out. Maybe yours were where someone stood on their head. Steve in Sarasota.

I think someone was doing a hand stand and walking down the beach on there hands and all there change fell out of there pants guzz1
