Very nice find! It has held up well if it has been in the soil since the 1940's. Assuming that you are in Europe, I am jealous of the opportunities that you have to hunt sites from WWII. Yet, on the other hand, I would likely do something stupid and blow myself up while hunting. So, maybe it is better that I look at your nice photos instead. Vielen Dank!
