I have had my X-70 for 9 months.
Pros: Very light. Easy to use. Allows room for growth. Ability to customize patterns, (notch out signals you do not want). Only uses 4 AA batteries. Hey batts can get expensive. Can be swung quick or slow and will hit a target.
Negs: Battery compartment: the springs can get weak. I do not like the headphone door. Sometimes it creaks while swinging it, (could jus be me). The cover requires you to undo coil connector to remove.
I did send mine in 1 time so far. They replaced the touch pad, the battery compartment, no issues since.
Compared to what I had (Radio Shack Oldie) it is night and day better. I really need to get the 10"DD coil.
