Ya all don't like iron... found some and a goat bell
My work has been slowing down and I've been able to get out more now. These are from my last 3 trips out. I found the goat bell and chain in the same spot. The bell came out first and the chain was beneath it. I'm assuming the goat bell was attached to the chain with a wire at one time but rusted off over the years.
The little shovel was used to scoop ashes out of a wood stove. It is 25" long and is a quite heavy. Not like the cheap ones made nowadays. The 3 items came from a mining village.
My next finds came from detecting along log slides. The ever popular chains with grabs. These are very common here. I find one almost every time out. The 2 small items on the right are repair links for chains. When a chain broke the black smith would repair it with one of these links.
