You decide on just a short walk around a local field.

You get a nickel/tab hit and you dig anyway.

You see this:

2015 (353).jpg

That's enough to make anyone breathe a victory sigh and think about calling it a day.
But then, you clear some more and turn it around and this happens!

2015 (355).jpg

At this point, one doesn't care if it's real or not!
WOW!

2015 (354).jpg

Makes all seem worthwhile again. :)

The AT played another joke on me today too:

I saw that first frame and thought, well, you know.... LOL

Thanks for peeking folks!

Great post! So is it bling? Is the ring stamped? Either way- great find. That thrill of seeing a ring of any kind come out of the ground is a feeling none of us will ever tire of. Thanks for sharing!

NICE BLING !!!! You need to hand out sunglasses or at lest warn us!
Well the facets look small that's good and the band is shinny, that's good too....but..I..can't.quite..see the markings in the band!

Going by the stand off between those two, I think it's real!

I would expect that type of humor from my M6, but from your AT?

Congrats on some fine looking bling! And other finds!

One of my almost heart stoppers was complements of "Avon".

Hmmm. was very exciting to scroll through the thread to find out the metal type and whether or not the diamond was real. Apparently, that's part of the FUN.

Well folks, if I had a clue I would've said a long time ago. So, I deferred to better eyes and equipment.

Not this time. CZ and a heavily plated something. The inside markings were worn completely off. Like this ring had been worn
for quite a while.

They still can't take away the thrill. :)

Now, time for a collective HO HUM! :dontknow:
Thanks for all the responses! :)

Shame on you, Subby ole pal. YOU should know not to be wasting your time waiting around for someone to tell you
is it real. If I found it, dug it up, posted it....it is "real" enough. ;)

I suppose you're correct, Whadi,...its just that I am an old man, and don't have much time left...:laughing7:

THE important thing is...you found a lovely ring and seeing that gleam in the plug cannot be replaced by any other feeling, diamond or CZ! I have felt that a few times...Sub8-)
