YAYAYAYAAAAA GOLD & Diamonds!

After only a couple hours hunting in the town I just moved to, I have had some really great finds. I have found a bunch of clad, no old coins yet, two gold rings (one plated), a watch, an old pocket knife, and a bowling trophy guy who looks like he got in a fight!

Quick question before you look @ the pics. One of the gold rings I found has a couple markings on the inside. The first is 14k (14 karat gold obviously) and the other marking .38VA has me stumped. It has what appears to be a large diamond setting along with 6 smaller diamonds on the outsides (3 on each side). Could the .38VA be a marking for the stones? The jeweler in town is closed today, so I am hoping someone here can shed some light on this .38VA marking.

Oh I also included a pic of my box with everything found so far after 2 weeks of hunting (i did spend about 12$ of the quarter clad).

Got it appraised today. Its a 1 karat diamond, with about 4 grams of 14k gold. They said it would retail for around $2500-3500 and that i could probably sell it for around $1200...if I could find a buyer. Anybody wanna buy an engagement ring?

And Stormyyyy, I liked the two bucks! You will catch up after the "storms" clear.

Sweet Ring!!! I have yet to find one with my ACE. I think you'll be able to get more than $1200 for it. Ask them about getting the diamond graded and then try ebay or craigslist.
