I keep my MXT on the same setting all the time - just above iron and then just listen to the tones. Yep, lots of digging this year with maybe getting out on average once or twice a week for a couple of hours. Grandkids keep me busy!

I guess I ended up with 34 rings - 19 silver and the rest junk. Still waiting for my first gold ring!
My husband cleans up the pennies and the clad with Comet and a scrubbie brush once we see what the dates are and they aren't special!

I actually found the 1916 wheat at a park sitting on top of the wood chips. Sometimes I swear someone is just dropping pennies on the playgrounds around here as that's were I find quite a bit of them.
