Years first silver 1870 seated half

I had 2 hours to kill before my dentists appointment.I went to a old large park in Rochester N.Y and pulled this out within 5 minutes. Rumor has it that this park was hunted out, but dont believe everything you hear. Mind you, i never felt any pain at the dentists office after this find

I'm sure he will, I met him last week and although he's new to the forum, he's been detecting for 20yrs. Today he's busy at a club hunt, maybe he'll come up with some more nice silver!

Nice find, just beautiful. I always trips me out to look at a huge park or a busy street, and just imagine all of the lost coins and trinkets sealed underground just begging to see the light of day. And everyone else just rushes by thinking about bills they have to pay. Go liberate more lost coins! Captain Kidd
