I hunted with a bunch of friends at an old site on Saturday. While there I un earthed this beautiful 1887- O Morgan silver dollar! I got 20 keepers as far as coins go. Also had a 7 silver hunt. The rest of the coins include one large cent, 3 Indians, 6 wheats, 2 silver roses, 3 mercs, one Barber dime, one old Jefferson nickel, one Buffalo nickel, and one "V" nickel. I also got several neat relics. A great day and it sure was cool to be able to share finding that awesome coin with all my friend who were there!

Hey, what are those stone looking things with the screw holes in them?
are they lead? got me head-scratchin here.

Now that is a great hunt! Congrats on that Morgan along with the rest of those silvers. I met a ironworker years back when we were building the Taj Maja in Atlantic City, he detected and found out front by the boardwalk a little steel box with forty Morgans in it. Could you imagine!
