I got permission to hunt some property I havent seen yet. The person wants me to clear a ditch and will provide the tools for the job. I hope its not too bad, lol. She said I can hunt for artifacts when it is completed. Also she mentioned if I had snake boots
I replied as a matter of fact I do........then she said do you have a pistol? I said yeah I can carry it if you want me too. She said well it sounds like a deal then. She is going to tell me more in a couple of weeks cause she was in a hurry at the moment. I hope it pans out cause I just google earthed it and it looks good from the top view. It is going to be hot I am sure but it will be a place I can hunt when the crops are in and I wont have to worry about anything but snakes. She said there is a natural spring head on the property. All sounds good to me so far. She said I can do whatever I like on the property. Ill update if I actually get to go. Wish me luck!

I thought it was a good post you had. I wasnt mad about it at all. No need to say sorry about it. I dont like snakes due to the first job I had working in a plant nursery when I was 12 yrs old. It was an old nursery run by 2 old people and every time I had to pull weeds or clear the grass the little old lady would say...Watch out! Id look up and say what and then she would say oh sorry I thought that was a snake. Always screaming snake at me. I guess it made me hate them and to be very weary of them. There you go thats the story.

Good luck Rock. Sounds like you are networking. I picked up a field of square bale hay once to hunt a field,lol. Keep your eyes peeled in that ditch for points and axes.

Yeah I have had allot of leads in the past yr but have only had one person come through so far and that is the farmers land that I hunt on now. I still plan on going back to the creek in the mean time. Hopefully this one will come through cause it is rite near the river. The river goes all the way to Ala from that spot and the Indians used it as a highway for trading. I know a guy that told me he found stone bowls around that area so it will be a nice place to look. I dont know if there is a field or not I will have to wait and see. Might just be woods and the spring. Thanks everyone.
