I turned the pottery image upside down and you are probably right about this
i am glad and thankful that you posted your opinion and look now at the upside down images and it will support what soill and john are saying

the last image shows the idea the best

I am hoping we could get a few more opinions about this

The spotted breast is the giveaway.
 

soill,note that the first image shows 13 spots on the breast and then the second image has only 9

When So Ill brought it up, I flipped my laptop over and seen it right off. Like I said I can see an owl both ways. It is a work of art.You should be very proud to have found it. To me its like finding the ultimate Treasure. You are in the right house here at T-net. I am honored to get to see your personal and rare finds, and I just plain out like you and think your one hell of a guy. What was Matts opinion on age? John
