Yesterday and today's finds

Went to a beach the past couple days......man it was cold !!
My hunting partner Fred and I had a blast. Fred is my yellow lab and I spent more time filling in holes he had dug than I did swinging
Found some junk (lots of bobby pins) and some good stuff!!
The class ring popped out in a clump of frozen sand....pretty cool - literally. I'm sure the young lady will be surprised when I track her down.
I found the gold yesterday. 10k with an opal setting - but the opal is cracked. I'll still take it. AND a 44p war nickel - my second this winter.

Antiquaria - the only water he saw today was out of my water bottle, everything else was frozen.

Googled the young lady's name and high school on the ring.....going to be tougher than I thought.

Years ago I had a Chesapeake Retriever and I tell you she would head straight for any kind of water! No matter how gross or disgusting and would always bring back some dead log or tree branch for me to throw for her!

Too bad about the ring . . . best of luck finding it's owner Flip!

That was pretty cool looking the way you photographed that ring frozen in the sand.
Thanks for sharing the finds with us dreamers out here. I've yet to do a beach hunt but, now I'm looking very much to the initiation.

2005. The school alumni site has a section listed as "found someone's class ring". I listed all the info, so maybe I'll hear something in the next couple days.

Hey, flip flop might as well get that dog a detector if he's gonna be diggin holes. Nice finds. Wish I could get out here in Ohio. The weather is not cooperating. I need a fix man I'm itchin to get out. again , nice finds.

He wouldn't slow down long enough to get a signal.

Just hung up with the owner of the class ring. We are gonna meet up Wednesday and get the ring back where it belongs.
