We were waiting for our favorite field to be plowed at a near by field and dug all these goodies. Fast Eddy and my other buddy each got a copper, they also got a silver spoon, sterling mechanical pencil and other farm field debris. About 3:30 we headed over to hit our favorite hot spot ( 1796 Likerty half dime field) anyway, it was nice and sunny when we pulled up and within 10 minutes a very slooooooow moving severe thunderstorm parked its ass right over us killing the hunt. Sooo, I’m hoping no planting goes on for a week or we’re screwed until next fall. My tally was musket balls, and matching pair of earrings ( weird, right😳) a 1823 large cent, bale seal, a little piece of silver I was hoping was a Cobb but is either a chunk of a Reale or a button that got man handled in the field and two very deep, dis appointing clad quarters.

It’s gonna be a slow year now that I’m back to work. We’re gonna try our field again tomorrow afternoon
