Was it ever hot out there this morning


Hunted only in rocky areas close to shoreline.
This ring ( I believe it is often respectfully referred to as a "Honker") ...was found nestled between several medium sized rocks about 6 " down....gave off a nice , solid high sound.
At first sight, I thought it was a heavy bolt, but on closer examination after pushing the heavy mud out of the center , I realized that it was a tarnished ring.
The stamping reads " Schubart 925". Mary Schubart ( Amityville , NY) is a relative newcomer to the jewelry business. She is a painter and a sculptor, and only recently began to produce jewelry.
Had never heard of this jeweler before..I believe it is considered "high end", but I could be wrong.
